Organized in 1949 -- 60 years ago, wow. this is Hayley's dancing heritage. It didn't necessarily skip a generation (I could have been a dancer), but here it is again. Does that first photo look like Laura?
That wasn't that long ago...was it! I've seen the first photo, or at least a copy somewhere. You were at BYU which years affter 51-52? Do they still call it the Banyan. What does that mean? Keep blogging mom....
Laura? Maybe, Lincoln, what do you think? I started BYU in the Fall of l951, I was 17 years old. I turned 18 in October and was married in the summer, June 25, l952. I kept going to school a class or two at a time and graduated with my B.S. 10 years later in August of l961, then continued on, a few classes at a time and graduated with my M.A. five years later in August of l966.I have no idea why it was called the Banyan or if BYU's yearbook has changed its name. Then, I was admitted to ASU's Ph.D. program June of l985 and graduated 10 years later October of l995. Forever a student! Luvmom

Banyan tree is very interesting. Roots grow down to the ground and under from the branches.
I was once a photographer on the BYU Banyan staff. I have heard that BYU no longer has a yearbook.
I enjoyed the photos!
thanks
